- Liaise with other professionals in setting-up an audiology clinic.
- Audit audiology practices in existing set-ups.
- Implement acts and legislations relating to persons with hearing impairment,
- Advise Governments and other agencies on the formulation of policies and legislative acts relating to hearing disability

- Explain about speech perception in individuals with different configurations, types, degrees of hearing impairment
- Differentiate / compare perception of speech through different senses and listening devices
- Critically examine different methods to evaluate speech intelligibility, and describe the factors effecting speech intelligibility
- Apply information on speech intelligibility / speech perception in the field of speech and hearing
